ABC Metro Washington Excellence in Construction Awards – Doors & Windows

In September, Vanguard – “The Elle” won the ABC Metro Washington Excellence in Construction Award for Facades (Doors and Windows Category)! The Excellence in Construction Awards recognize outstanding projects built by Washington area ABC members.

Completed in June of 2024, the 185,000 SF Vanguard office building was renovated for WILLCO Development into a 163-unit apartment complex with 12,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. Located downtown at 20th & L Street NW, the project features a host of amenities including a penthouse pool, 9th floor rooftop terrace/sundeck, private rooftop bar, fitness center, and several lounges/work areas.

The celebration also featured First Source success stories, bringing a wealth of emotions as we witnessed how the program’s success has changed so many lives.
