1425 Harvard Street NW

Harvard Court Apartments is a new 108-unit apartment building located at 1425 Harvard Street NW totaling approximately 150,000 SF.

The proposed structure will be 7 stories above grade and 1 below grade parking garage. Amenities include meeting rooms, a Makers Room with craft and supply storage, Community Lounge with a Demo Kitchen, a fitness center, and a 2nd floor courtyard.

The structure consists of a foundation slab below grade, slab on grade, 2nd floor podium slab, and six levels of Cold Formed Metal Framing with concrete on metal deck structure from the podium slab up. The facade consists of primarily brick veneer and fiber cement with windows and a metal panel screenwall at the roof.

Construction started in the Fall of 2025 and is being built by the NHP Foundation, Columbia Heights Village Tenants Association, and Change All Souls Housing Corp.
