2024 DOES Workforce Innovation Award

FIRST SOURCE 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATORY CONFERENCE

On Friday, August 23rd, the DOES Office of First Source Compliance celebrated 40 years of First Source accomplishments at the Conrad Hotel. The event recognized 12 employers from both the construction and non-construction industries who have partnered with DOES to successfully meet First Source requirements and implement procedure updates.

For 40 years, the First Source Program has been a driving force in the District’s strategy to increase employment for District residents. DOES presented eight types of awards, and we are thrilled to announce that McCullough was celebrated  as one of two employers to receive the Workforce Innovation Award.

The celebration also featured First Source success stories, bringing a wealth of emotions as we witnessed how the program’s success has changed so many lives.
